Free mask giveaway from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday at Myrick Park in La Crosse

Free masks Saturday from the city of La Crosse.

The drive-up event will go from 8 a.m. – noon at the Myrick Park main shelter (map).

One mask per household member — five max. There are a limited number of child masks available, as well.

The masks are washable and reusable.

“Through grant funding, we have the ability to do this and I personally feel it is important to empower our community to follow this common-sense approach to prevent the spread,” La Crosse Mayor Tim Kabat said in a statement.
