No game against Louisville on Wednesday for the Wisconsin men’s basketball team, but it will still play.

Louisville had postpone the game due to COVID-19 protocols, so the 13th-ranked Badgers announced they will play Rhode Island instead, as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Tipoff is at 3:30 p.m. from the Kohl Center and it will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. Wisconsin will try to bounce back from its loss at the buzzer to Marquette.

In a statement, Wisconsin said the two programs are “working to explore an alternative date.”

It’s not the only ACC/Big Ten Challenge game postponed. NC State’s game against Michigan is also off due to COVID-19 issues — the second time the Wolfpack have had to call off a game.
