Thompson

That was the scene Tuesday afternoon, as brothers Jordan and Johnny Davis were playing for the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team, while Terrance Thompson was out there for UW-Green Bay.

And it was Jordan Davis — in 2 minutes of action — who finished with the most points of the three, nailing a 3-pointer — his first career points — with 31 seconds to go.

Thompson played 10 minutes, finished with two points and a rebound.

Jor. Davis

Jonathan Davis played 19 minutes, went 1-for-4 from the field with two points, five rebounds, an assist, a block and a turnover.

The Badgers won the game, by the way, 82-42.

As seniors at Central, these three were ready to lead their high school to a state championship. They were set to play Hortonville in the Division 2 Sectional Final to get to the state tournament, when the pandemic hit — robbing them of the finale to their season and high school careers.
