While some places are forced to close down due to a lack of business, and others because too many employees have to quarantine, one La Crosse business is just closing for safety.

Chances R in downtown La Crosse posted Wednesday, “We cannot in good conscience stay open and put people at risk.”

The bar said it will open back up on Nov. 27.

“We are hoping that bars and restaurants choose to do the right thing and close, as well,” the statement continued. “We know it’s hard being shut down but if we all make this sacrifice we can go back to normal before this gets even more devastating.”
