Democratic incumbent Jill Billings retained her seat in Wisconsin’s 95th Assembly, defeating Jerome Gundersen in Tuesday’s election.

Billings won with 65 percent of the vote — 19,682-10,270 votes.

Billings has represented La Crosse in the 94th since a special election in 2011 — when she took over Jennifer Shillings seat. Shilling left to run for state Senate, beating Dan Kapanke in a recall election.
