Two new ways to get tested for COVID-19 in Winona.

A semi-permanent site has opened in the Winona Mall, and Hy-Vee is offering free testing.

Taking over the indoor playground at the Winona Mall will be a testing site to remain open through at least the end of the year.

It’s open Wednesdays-Fridays (noon-6 p.m.) and on the Saturdays and Sundays (10 a.m.-4 p.m.).

People wanting a test should not to eat, drink, chew or smoke anything for at least 30 minutes before testing.

Hy-Vee in Winona, and other Midwest locations, is offering free testing through its pharmacy for anyone 3 years and older — with or without symptoms.

People can get tested Thursdays (7-9 a.m.) or Saturdays (8-10 a.m.). They would do so at the pharmacy’s drive-thru, but must register online first at www.doineedacovid19test.com.
