Another 45 cases of COVID-19 Monday in La Crosse County, according to state data.

That’s nearly a third of what Sunday’s total was, however — at 129, which was a single-day high in the county. UW-La Crosse has had 304 positive tests in six days, and 98 of 130 quarantine zones taken.

Winona County is up to 679 cases, but added just two Monday, after 30 combined on the weekend.

Monroe County added 14 from Saturday to Monday and is now at 324 total cases. Vernon County is up to 130 cases after adding 10 cases over that same time period.

STATE TOTALS
Wisconsin: 89,956 cases, 6,350 hospitalizations, 1,210 deaths
Minnesota: 84,949 cases, 6,954 hospitalizations, 1,922 deaths
Iowa: 75,069 cases, 1,233 deaths

Statewide, Wisconsin finally got under a thousand cases in a day for the first time in five days. Monday’s total was 771 new cases, along with 18 hospitalizations and zero deaths.

Minnesota had 643 cases, 23 hospitalizations and three deaths. The state had 50 deaths the four days prior.

Iowa data showed 394 cases Monday, and 13 deaths.
