The video below, shared Monday by the La Crosse County Health Department, shows “an actual depiction of COVID-19 spread in La Crosse County,” that all started with “Joe.”

The fictional Joe, who was asymptomatic and out to eat, ends up spreading the virus to other fictional characters in the based-on-a-true story video.

The occurrences happened in May and June. The video concludes that “one asymptomatic person on May 29 led to 31 positive cases, 75 contacts and hundreds of others … in three weeks.”
