Two hurt in Vernon County motorcycle crash

Two people were hurt in Vernon County Thursday, when their motorcycle flipped while trying to avoid a collision. 

James Powell of Whitehall swerved his cycle when a van pulled toward him from an intersection on Highway 33 near Hillsboro. 

James and his passenger, Angela Powell, were thrown from the cycle when it went out of control. 

The Powells were taken to a Hillsboro hospital for treatment. 

The van, driven by a Minnesota man, was not hit.
