Holmen school official hired as North Woods principal

North Woods International School in La Crosse is getting a new principal, from the Holmen district. 

Keri Holter has been hired by the La Crosse School Board. 

Holter has been the associate principal of Holmen Middle School for the past 12 years, and taught at a Holmen charter school before that. 

Sandra Brauer has retired as North Woods principal after 21 years in the La Crosse district.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."
