La Crosse motorcycle rider killed in Grant County crash

A 65-year-old motorcycle rider from La Crosse was killed after hitting a tree and driving through a barbed wire fence. 

Ernest Reynolds apparently missed a corner on Highway 133 in Grant County, near the Wisconsin River, and drove off the road on Monday. 

The Grant County sheriff’s office said Reynolds died after being thrown from his Harley Davidson.

The accident happened near Woodman, in the northern part of Grant County.

Reynolds was the second person killed on Grant County roads this year.  

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."     Why do we need to know what brand of motorcycle he was riding?
