Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse has received a generous contribution to assist in fighting COVID-19.
According to a press release, the hospital has received a number of donations including 1,000 N95 masks which are used by other industries outside of healthcare.
The masks are used to protect against airborne particles and are being selectively used.
The CDC says the N95 mask would protect nurses when dealing with the Coronavirus.
Dr. Paul Molling of Mayo says they appreciate the support from the community in many different forms.
