An apparently accidental bump between two young men at Valley View Mall led to a severe beating, according to police.

Jayvawn Bush of La Crosse is being held in jail for intentional child abuse, causing bodily harm.

The 19-year-old is accused of bumping into a 14-year-old boy at the mall last month, which caused the younger boy to spill a drink.

The younger teen told Bush to watch where he was going. Bush allegedly responded by punching the 14-year-old several times.

The victim reportedly was knocked out, and there was a pool of blood on the floor.

The mall attack allegedly happened on Feb. 22, and police did not find an actual security video recording of the incident.

Bush was booked into the La Crosse County jail on March 7, and his bond is set at $2,500 cash, because he has a history of skipping court appearances.

No video?! SMH and I suppose no ‘witnesses’ either! What a crock o’doggie do!

I highly doubt so sweet a sentiment was released from the 14 yr old male’s mouth, but obviously physical violence of any degree was 100% unacceptable.

Even if either of them had purposely ‘bumped’ into the other….. what is happening in our world should shock everyone to some sort of action to reverse the trend. js
