Oktoberfest button designs due by January 15th

Festival button designers of La Crosse, pay attention: the deadline to submit a design for the 2020 Oktoberfest button is only two weeks away.

It’s 4 p.m. on January 15th.

Next year marks the 60th Oktoberfest in La Crosse, and the theme for the fest and the button is “Cheers to 60 Years.”

Designs can be submitted online to [email protected], or mailed to the La Crosse Festivals office at P.O. Box 1716, La Crosse.

The winning button design is usually unveiled in March, and the 2020 Oktoberfest happens September 24th to 27th.

The button always includes the Oktoberfest logo, “La Crosse, Wisconsin,” the dates for the festival, and a maple leaf.

Brad Williams

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
