A Black River Falls man is charged with felony stalking, for alleged behavior that includes threatening phone calls to his former girlfriend.

Timothy Luther is suspected of leaving dozens of messages, including some apparent death threats, for the woman in Holmen that he dated for a month.

La Crosse County prosecutor Brittney Wagner says the 48-year-old Luther “threatened to rape the victim, shoot her, shoot her child, slash her tires,” and shoot himself in the woman’s driveway.

The victim called Holmen police about the threats last weekend.

Luther has been allowed out of the La Crosse jail on a signature bond, and Judge Gloria Doyle has ordered him to have no contact with the victim or her home.

His next court hearing is on January 2nd.
