A long drought without an air show in La Crosse will end soon.

Organizers of the Deke Slayton Airfest say the Navy’s Blue Angels will return to the La Crosse Airport on June 12th and 13th of 2021.

The Blue Angels also appeared at the most recent airfest in 2014.

A scheduled festival in the summer of 2015 had to be cancelled because of safety concerns resulting from construction work on I-90, near the airport.
