Kawhi vs. Giannis — FINALLY

Published

on

The NBA’s MVP against the NBA Finals’ MVP goes down tonight in Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo vs. Kawhi Leonard. Finally.

It’s a matchup NBA fans have been waiting for, after Leonard did the whole load management thing last time and the Bucks squeaked out a 129-124 win over the LA Clippers.

The last time the Bucks saw Leonard, he was eliminating them from the Eastern Conference Finals on his way to winning an NBA title for the Toronto Raptors.

Leonard and his new team are favorites to win the West, while the Bucks have the best record in the NBA (19-3), are in the midst of a 13-game win streak and the favorite to get out of the East.

All signs point to Leonard playing tonight, and everyone knows Antetokounmpo isn’t sitting out to rest.

The reigning NBA MVP has played all 22 games for the Bucks. Leonard has played 16 of the Clippers 22 games. They’re 16-6.

Paul George, also new to the Clippers, should play, as well. He’s played the last 11 games for LA. The loss to the Bucks was not one of them.
