Tomah driver accused of 10th OWI

A driver from Tomah is now facing his 10th drunk-driving offense, after an arrest on Tuesday in Jackson County.

Jon Miner is scheduled for a court appearance on December 9th. 

Miner’s car was stalled in a traffic lane of I-94, and a state trooper said the driver showed signs of impairment.  

His most recent OWI conviction in Wisconsin happened in Juneau County, in the summer of 2014. 

Miner was sentenced to five years in prison, and as late as a year ago, he was listed as a prisoner in the Racine County Jail.     

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
