Strong-to-severe storms, damaging winds, hail could hit La Crosse this evening

The National Weather Service in La Crosse is predicting a strong-to-severe storm will hit La Crosse by 6 p.m. tonight.

The NWS said there is a threat of damaging winds, as well as a tornado watch in parts of the area, until 10 p.m.

The greatest threat of storms west of the Mississippir River will last until 7 p.m. tonight. Across western Wisconsin, the storms could last through 11 p.m.

Also, there will be the threat for large hail, isolated tornadoes and flash flooding.
