Lane closures, detours begin Wed. morning in downtown La Crosse

Expect lane closures and detours in La Crosse beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, as crews will be working on manholes on the 3rd Street N.-State Street intersection.

The westbound lane on State Street, from 2nd Street N. to 3rd Street N. will be closed to thru traffic.

Eastbound traffic on State Street from 4th Street N. to 3rd Street N. will only be allowed to turn left onto 3rd Street N.

Also, road maintenance will be done Southbound on 3rd Street N., from State to Main. Vehicles will be shifted to the left lane. Traffic will be reduced to 15 mph there.

Depending upon weather, all lanes are expected to be reopened by Friday.
