La Crosse Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning armed robbery.

Police say a white male armed with a knife entered the George Street Kwik Trip around 4:25 a.m. Wednesday.

He threatened the clerk, stole an undetermined amount of cash and fled the store on foot.

The man, determined to be around 5-foot-9, was wearing a black hoodie with a blue bandana over his face.

Police encourage anyone living in the neighborhoods to the east of Kwik Trip, who has exterior security cameras, to review footage around 4:25 am.

If you have any information, you’re asked to contact the La Crosse Police Department or La Crosse Area Crimestoppers.

I also act as the voice of local sports, doing play by play of high school and college football and basketball. When not working I enjoy golfing.
