The man who shot a La Crosse Police Officer is in the La Crosse County Jail.
Allen Kruk, charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment and theft of a firearm was listed on the county’s inmate locator website this morning.
Kruk had been in the hospital since Aug. 3 after he was shot by Officer Dustin Darling, after he shot Darling first.
Darling had responded to a domestic disturbance call between Kruk and his ex-wife when the incident took place.
Just yesterday, the La Crosse County DA’s office cleared Darling of any wrongdoing, and the police department released body cam video, showing the incident (watch here).
