Juvenile dies in Tomah, autopsy ordered

An autopsy has been ordered to find out how a juvenile boy died in Tomah on Monday. 

Tomah police were dispatched to an address on Lemonweir Parkway, where the boy was unresponsive. 

Emergency workers tried to revive him, and then took him to Tomah Memorial, where he was pronounced dead.

The Monroe County medical examiner called for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."
