A drug bust leads to trafficking charges against a Jackson County man.
Victor Williams of the Melrose area has been jailed, after a Tuesday search of a rural house turned up drugs, $4300 in cash, and a handgun.
Williams is accused of dealing drugs in Jackson and Monroe Counties.
Police arrested the 40-year-old Williams away from the house, and found him hiding cocaine and fentanyl on his body.
He faces nine separate criminal charges, mostly for drug possession.
