The La Crosse to Madison pipeline will continue.

Over the weekend, La Crosse Central backcourt duo, brothers Johnny and Jordan Davis, announced they had orally committed to the University of Wisconsin to play basketball for the Badgers.

The offer from Johnny Davis had been on the table for quite some time, though Jordan was offered earlier this month.

Jordan Davis also fielded several football scholarship offers as he excelled as a receiver last season.

The twins were the top two scorers on a Red Raiders team that lost in the state semifinals for the second consecutive year.

They’ll be joining former Central standout Kobe King, who will be entering his redshirt sophomore season.

Born in Decorah Iowa. I've been a news reporter for the last 10 years, starting right out of college in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Other professional opportunities led me to Marshalltown, Iowa and Antigo Wisconsin, before I finally was afforded the opportunity here in La Crosse. I've been here since 2016. I also act as the voice of local sports, doing play by play of high school and college football and basketball. When not working I enjoy golfing.
