Two-day Artspire festival begins tonight in downtown La Crosse

The sixth annual Artspire festival gets underway Friday in downtown La Crosse.

The weekend event celebrating the arts is free to the public. A concert featuring Bill Miller kicks things off from the Pump House stage, and the music will continue throughout the two-day festival.

Saturday features an art fair and sale from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. There will also be activities for people of all ages. For more information checkout the Pumphouse website here or check out the Facebook event page here.

ACT I: FRIDAY

Pump House Stage:

5:00 p.m. – Bill Miller opens Artspire 2019

Brickl Bros Stage Area:

6: 15 p.m. – Woodland-style original Pow Wow by Ho-Chunk Singers and Dancers

7:00 p.m. – La Crosse Hmong Dancers

7:30 p.m. – West African rhythmic and drum for everyone by Duniya Drum and Dance

8:00 p.m. – The Mayfield Experience

ACT II: SATURDAY

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Art Fair & Sale

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Nonstop Arts Activities

10:00 a.m. – Hans Mayer – Music for Kids

10:45 a.m. – Yarn Spinning – Interactive Stories for the Fa.m.ily
