La Crosse Police arrest two in drug raid

An evening raid of an apartment in La Crosse has led to a seizure of drugs, weapons and cash.

Police conducted a search warrant Monday night at 1116 4th Street South Apartment 2, and found 4.2 grams of heroin, ecstacy pills, $7,000 in cash and a .22 caliber handgun.

Basley

Lavon Liggins, 38, was arrested for multiple drug offenses, as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Also arrested for multiple drugs offenses was 28-year-old Brittany Basley.

In a press release, La Crosse Police say both are well known to them and the criminal justice system.
