Need help with yard work? Habitat’s Neighbor’s Day signup deadline Monday

Habitat for Humanity La Crosse will, once again, be organizing Neighbor’s Day, where those in need get help with small projects around their homes.

Monday is the deadline for those who are disabled or elderly in the city of La Crosse to sign up.

Some things volunteers will help with around the house include yard raking, trimming shrubs, turning your garden or washing outside windows.

Volunteers will also help with marsh cleanup.

The event runs from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on April 27.
