Riverside Park temporarily closed by flooding

Riverside Park in La Crosse is being closed to the public, while the Mississippi remains high.

The river began rising over the banks at Riverside during the weekend, and the water is now two feet above flood stage.

Riverside, Copeland, and Pettibone Parks are now closed temporarily because of the flood waters.

The latest flood forecast is for a crest of 14.7 feet in La Crosse on Wednesday, April 3rd.
