Court appearances: cash bond for false imprisonment charge, evaluation for robbery suspect
Bond is set at $5000 for an Onalaska man accused of physically attacking his girlfriend, and threatening her and her children.
Rory Deer Jr. is charged with battery, false imprisonment, and other counts resulting from an incident where the victim reportedly was held hostage and beaten several times.
Deer allegedly has threatened to kill the woman and her children in the past.
Also in La Crosse County court, Timothy Ellis is ordered to get an evaluation on whether he’s likely to commit crimes in the future.
Ellis and his brother are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint on a north La Crosse street earlier this winter.
Timothy is still looking for a defense attorney.
Judge Elliott Levine ordered a COMPAS evaluation, to determine the chance that Ellis could re-offend.
