Body found in backyard of property in the 1600 block of Johnson Street; La Crosse Police investigating

La Crosse police are currently investigating the discovery of a body.

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Johnson Street at 1:40 p.m.

The person was found lying in the backyard of a home.

Police were trying to identify the deceased individual.

Police said they don’t believe there is any danger to the public.
