Get ready for the next referendum on La Crosse County ballots.

The county board has okayed an advisory question, on whether the system for drawing Congressional and legislative districts in Wisconsin should be changed.

The referendum will happen during the April election, which will include city and school board races and a state Supreme Court contest.

Republicans who lead the legislature have been criticized for controlling redistricting, so they would win the majority of seats in Assembly and Senate races.

In November, La Crosse County held four referendums asking voters to show their preference for different ways of paying for highway repairs.
