MOSES organic conference on for February in La Crosse

As the La Crosse Center Board prepares to choose a new option for building expansion, one of the center’s biggest customers is getting ready for its next meeting in La Crosse. 

The MOSES Organic Conference will be held for three days in February at the center. 

This will be the 30th annual gathering for members of the western Wisconsin group that promotes organic farming. 

More than 3,000 people are expected at the MOSES event this year. 

La Crosse Center leaders and local tourism officials have stated publicly that they want to keep MOSES organizers happy, by improving the center or offering perks such as free parking, to prevent the conference from going to another city.      

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.

    Our farmers love coming to La Crosse! And, we love working with the city and La Crosse Center staff.
