Brice Prairie speed limits may change, if County Board approves

Brice Prairie could see new speed limits.

The speed limit on County OT could increase from 25 to 35 if the La Crosse County Board approves the changes at a meeting tonight.

Parts of Highway Z and ZN could be decreased from 55.

The changes are based on the recommendations from a new study of traffic speeds in that area.

The board is also expected to vote on the appointment of Tom Jacobs to fill the vacant seat in District 27, which is the West Salem and Bangor area.

Jacobs is from the Greenfield Town Board. He would finish the term of Tina Wehrs, who recently stepped down.
