UPDATE: Police investigating two Monroe County deaths

LA GRANGE, Wis. — First it was one, but now police are investigating two deaths.

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies found a body around 7 a.m. Thursday near Lemonweir Elementary.

Police found a woman’s dead body lying outside a residence. Around 11:30 a.m., police entered a residence near where the woman was found, on Foothill Avenue, and found a dead man inside.

The public is not in danger, as the Monroe County Sheriff’s press release called it an isolated incident.

Students at Lemonweir reportedly were kept inside the school after police arrived in the area.
