Osseo father now charged in court with allegedly shaking baby

Bond is set at $10,000 cash for a Trempealeau County man accused of allegedly shaking his baby. 

Twenty-three-year-old Mitchel Feyen of Osseo is officially charged with child abuse, a week after he was arrested for causing physical harm to a child. 

The baby was taken to Rochester for treatment. 

Feyen will be back in court in Whitehall in early January. 

He’s being ordered not to have contact with anyone under 18, unless it’s approved by a government agency. 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
