Criminal charges could be filed this week against a Chicago man jailed after a chase through La Crosse.
The bond for Jerry Berry is set at $10,000 cash.
Berry is accused of driving drunk and endangering safety, after trying to flee from police who suspected him of getting a fake prescription filled at the Walgreen’s on West Avenue.
Police say Berry’s car hit a house and two parked cars on West Avenue on Friday before he ran away and was arrested later.
