Kwik Trip recalling some parfaits to avoid nut allergies

Kwik Trip stores are recalling some parfaits being sold in a three-state area, to prevent possible allergic reactions among customers.

The convenience store chain says a chocolate-covered nut…an almond or cashew…was found in a granola mix delivered by an outside supplier.

As a result, Kwik Trip stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota and Kwik Star outlets in Iowa are removing 8-and-a-quarter ounce Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits with a sell-by date of December 6th.

No illnesses have been reported from eating the parfaits.
