FEMA continues office hours in region

FEMA staffers are continuing to keep local office hours in the La Crosse area, to help victims of recent flooding.

Today is the last day for the Monroe County recovery center which has been open in Cashton since Wednesday.

Office hours at the Cashton Fire and Rescue building are from 9 am to 6 pm.

Meanwhile, FEMA is reopening its downtown La Crosse recovery office on 6th Street for two days next week, Monday and Tuesday.

The agency cancelled plans to have the La Crosse office open this Saturday.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
