La Crosse man accused of domestic abuse, smashes TV screen and threatens suicide

A La Crosse man is accused of domestic abuse, after allegedly holding his fiancee down for several minutes and covering her mouth to keep her quiet.

Jarred Osley allegedly got into a fight with the victim last week, when she bought a big-screen TV.

The 24-year-old Osley reportedly punched the TV screen and cracked it. He later smashed the woman’s engagement ring.

A criminal complaint says Osley also took the woman’s hand to hit himself in the face.

The woman reportedly threatened to slit her wrists with a knife, but Osley took the knife from her and said he would cut his own throat.

Osley then drove to Monroe County before turning himself in.
