Bond set for man who stole car from home in La Crosse County

Bond is set at $10,000 for a man accused of breaking into a La Crosse County home and stealing a car.

Max Stockert faces possible charges of burglary, false imprisonment and car theft.

The break-in happened more than a week ago at a woman’s home in the town of Greenfield.

The stolen car was recovered in Tomah, Wis., the next day.

Stockert was captured Friday by Tomah Police and the state patrol.
