38-year-old man accused of touching 14-year-old girl, possessing child porn

A repeat offender of child sexual assault and possession of child pornography was charged in La Crosse on Wednesday. 

Shaun Weaver is accused of touching a 14-year-old girl inappropriately in La Crosse.

The girl, now 15, told investigators, Weaver asked to touch her breasts and, after doing so, said he would come back when she was 18 so he could have sex with her “properly.” The incident happened at a home on Caledonia Street in July of 2017.

Weaver denied he was alone with the girl. He said to investigators last week, “If something happened by accident, then I didn’t realize it.”

A search of the 38-year-old’s phone revealed two images of nude prepubescent girls. Weaver said the pictures weren’t his.
