North side city council member pleased with exit 3 re-do outcome

Not quite ready for a grand opening just yet. But it’s down to final touches on the renovation of the I-90 exit 3 interchange at La Crosse.

City council member Andrea Richmond, who represents that area on the council, is pretty pleased.

Especially with the new eagle viewing area that she pushed relentlessly forward with the exit 3 work

“I think that was a real plus to add to our entrance as well and people are pleased with it.”

While the eagle viewing area is officially in the state highway right of way, city parks crews will have the responsibility for maintaining the area.

And Richmond tells us she’ll be checking to make sure they’re doing a good job.
