Police nabbed 61-year-old peering into basement last weekend
There could be more prowling about in a La Crosse neighborhood.
La Crosse police sergeant Tom Walsh says a special plainclothes police peeper patrol could be back on the beat this weekend to nab those who’ve been peeking in windows near the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.
Walsh says there’s some simple ways to keep the peepers at bay, like keeping exterior lights on, closing shades and blinds.
The special undercover peeper patrol nabbed Patrick Henke last weekend. The 61-year-old was peering into the basement window of place on north 22nd St. near the university.
