Father arrested after 15-year-old says dad punched him in face

Yang was already barred from home because of another case 

A 15-year-old boy told La Crosse police his father broke down his bedroom door last weekend and hit him in the face. 

The father, 38-year-old Shoua Yang, is accused of child abuse as a result.

The teen says he wouldn’t give up the key to his grandmother’s bedroom because his dad might steal money from there.

Yang allegedly broke through the boy’s door and punched him. Yang denies that he hit the teen.

Yang also faces charges of property damage and violating an injunction.

Because of another court case, Yang is barred from going to the family house on Denton Street for the next four years.
