Two Rockford men robbed title loan place and one still hasn’t been caught

The $87 dollars he stole amounts to seven years in prison.

Damario Graham was sentenced for armed robbery Monday in La Crosse County court, a year after holding up Wisconsin Auto Title on Rose St.

The 24-year-old Rockford, Ill., man came into the title loan office wielding a gun, demanding money. When they told him the business didn’t have a safe, he became agitated, saying, “I’m going to shoot someone.”

Graham left with $87 in a van, which police soon tracked to a woman in town. That woman said Graham and another man – Robert Cobb – were headed back to Rockford. Police there helped track Graham down. Cobb still has not been captured.

La Crosse County Judge Elliot Levine said Graham does not have a long criminal record, and made a wrong choice when he robbed that business.
