Bangor man gets 3 years for child porn, including traveling overseas for personalized videos

The FBI was was tipped off by investigators in Denmark of the 41-year-old man. 

A Bangor, Wis., man gets three years in prison for heavily indulging in the practice of collecting child porn.

La Crosse Judge Ramona Gonzalez said the sentence is more about punishment than about rehabilitation.

Corey Hershey was so into child porn he traveled to Europe to visit a company that created personalized pornographic videos, allowing him to meet the “models.” 

The 41-year-old, who was also sentenced to supervision, also collected girls’ underwear, had a lifetime pass to child porn sites and saved porn on computers.

Hershey told Judge Gonzalez that what he did “wasn’t right” and he would like to rebuild his life.

The FBI was tipped off seven years ago by investigators in Denmark, who had been watching Hershey, who was arrested and convicted two years ago.

His sentencing was delayed until now because he challenged a law which applied to his case.
