Sanders trails Clinton by just 230
delegates with 1,712 remaining

The next presidential primary for democrats takes place April 5 in Wisconsin.

Up for grabs in the state are 86 of the 1,712 delegates remaining in the presidential nomination race.

Right now, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are close.

Clinton holds a 1,261 to 1,031 delegate lead in the race to 2,838 according to fivethirtyeight.com.

Clinton is set to visit La Crosse’s Western Technical College at 1:30 p.m. today.

At 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sanders brings his show to Onalaska’s OmniCenter.

Other media sources will report vastly different numbers that include superdelegates. Those numbers are misconstrued and it is slowly becoming a story all over the news, including MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Superdelegates do not vote until the convention. Although they are pledged toward a certain candidate – Clinton has a vast amount of superdelegates in her pocket – they can change who to vote for when it comes that time.
