Holmen man accused sexually assaulting 7-year-old boy

Could get 60 years in prison

A 51-year-old man appeared in a La Crosse court Tuesday, charged with sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy.

The charge against Jerry Fishbaugher of Holmen claims that he had improper sexual contact with the boy at a house in La Crosse this month.

The child also told police that the man showed him sexual material, but Fishbaugher claimed the boy apparently found some adult magazines and was looking at them.

A sexual assault conviction could lead to 60 years in prison.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
