Report released today on TPP
A recent partnership that took seven years of negotiations could expand the amount of goods exported in Wisconsin from the 2014 total of $13.4 billion, according to Penny Pritzker.
The U.S. Secretary of Commerce released a report today that was all good news for Wisconsin. It highlighted the potential benefits of a completed Trans-Pacific Partnership for businesses and communities.
Pritzker said that more than 57 percent of Wisconsin’s goods exports went to TPP partners in 2014. Of that $13.4 billion from Wisconsin, it included $897 million to Japan, $123 million to Malaysia and $74 million to Vietnam.
